![]() Our Mission TTC Advertising is dedicated to helping businesses and organizations focus their marketing activities more effectively through the development of unique brand strategies and compelling creative. How we began Jim Thompson, Brian Tremblay and David Cooper are TTC's founding partners. Friends through the late 1960's and 70's, the three of us knew there was something special about how well we gelled. It was a comfortable fit. In 1983, we found a way to channel our shared passion for creativity, communication and business. From the early years as Lakehill Advertising to today's TTC Advertising, that passion has endured. Our Team Dave Cooper Dave firmly believes that simple yet stimulating creative is the basis for effective communication. Imaginative and enthusiastic, he works aggressively to ensure that client messages are delivered with clarity and impact. As Creative Director, Dave oversees creative development and production on all projects. He is our defender of brand consistency and directs the accounts of numerous clients. Dave is a founding member of the Sudbury chapter of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario. Jim Thompson Our clients benefit daily thanks to Jim's marketing insight and branding savvy. Whether he's facilitating a positioning workshop or participating in a creative brainstorm, Jim approaches every challenge with keen interest and an open mind. He also manages a number of client accounts and is a formidable creative writer. Jim is a Past Chair of the Greater Sudbury and District Chamber of Commerce and is Vice-President of the Northeastern Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Brian Tremblay When it comes to the nuts and bolts of any project, Brian is the go-to guy. From budgeting and planning to research and media, he has supervised accounts with annual expenditures of up to $3 million. Brian has planned and placed client advertising in both consumer and trade media across North America and around the world. He also writes creative copy and handles client accounts. Brian sits on the marketing committee of the Sudbury and District United Way and is Past Chair. Jim Webb JW is our wizard of Mac. Thanks to years of graphics experience on Macintosh platforms, we can consistently rely on his special design skills and his ability to create accurate computer layouts for final production. And whenever there's a software problem or production glitch, Jim is our in-house IT department. Jim has been involved with the annual Northern Lights Festival Boréal music festival since 1997 and is Chair of its Communications and Marketing Committee. Kyle Haapala The youngster of the team, Kyle is a master of new media software applications such as Flash and Dreamweaver. He began his career with a sports marketing company creating websites for NHL stars the likes of Mats Sundin and Bryan Trottier. A member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario, Kyle brings a fresh, innovative approach to both interactive and print design projects for our clients. Affiliations RGD Ontario In 1996, RGD Ontario became the self-regulatory, professional body for graphic designers in the province of Ontario. The Association grants graphic designers who qualify the right to the exclusive use of the designations Registered Graphic Designer and R.G.D. and is the governing and disciplinary body for its members. www.rgdontario.com. Greater Sudbury and District Chamber of Commerce TTC has been a member of the local Chamber of Commerce since 1985. The article presented an overview of how the Star has revamped its look and editorial, discussed the various advertising executions for print, radio, outdoor and TV and showed an example of a full-colour newspaper ad. ![]() TTC sponsors the 35th Northern Lights Festival For the third year in a row, TTC is proud to be a platinum sponsor of Northern Lights Festival Boréal. Our sponsorship includes concept development and creative applications for posters, print ads, promo cards, radio and TV advertising. This annual celebration of music and culture took place in Sudbury July 7-9, 2006. ![]() Supporting the United Way TTC has been donating creative services to the Sudbury and District United Way since 1997. We recently completed the main brochure for their 2006 fundraising campaign which runs from September to December. The brochure will be used by United Way volunteers to demonstrate how individual donations can help and to indicate the various programs that United Way funds. Client List
